« PLACE Workshop - Find out what your talents and gifts are and what personality type makes you unique. Cost of materials is $10. Read More | Signup
Seminars are held for different aspects of peoples lives or groups have requested.
« Love and Logic - Reduce stress in your life and start having fun with the kids again. Learn to end power struggles and back talk; learn to set limits using "thinking" words; get chores done without hassles; no more arguing or whining; discover enforceable statements; and have fun raising happy, responsible kids with an easier way to parent.
« Financial Peace - Join David Ramsey's popular money-management course. FPU is the most important step to changing your financial future. It is your total money makeover program. The class is taught by best-selling author and financial counselor Dave Ramsey. Runs 12 weeks at 120 minutes per class.
Are you wanting to grow your own faith, get to know others, or understand the Bible more? These are all aspects of small groups. Below are some of the open small groups available.
« Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study - Thursday 9-11am in room 109. Women of all ages come together to study the bible with teacher, Tammye Gilreath. Walk-in’s Welcome!
« Coffee Talk- Women’s Breakfast the 2nd Sat. of each month in the ARC dining room from 8:30-10a. Childcare provided
" Christian Singles Network (CSN) - a singles ministry available to any single person aged 30 years or older.
« Dinner for Eight (D48) - "Dinner for Eight" is a group of 8 people, couples or singles, who get together once a month for dinner, either in their homes or at a restaurant or another venue of their choice. It is a group designed to get people to connect and find new friends.
« Men’s Group - The 2nd Monday night of the month at 7pm, men of the church gather to help out people or persons in the community with service projects. Please call Gary Killian @ 817.447.1700 to find out where the next meeting will be held. All men are welcome to attend.
« Seasoned Senior’s- The “spicy” group of seniors who love to travel, attend the theatre, attend tours, and generally have fun. They have a full schedule of events and enjoy inviting all seniors in the church to come with them on all their various outings and church parties.
« Grace Groups - Groups of 6-10 people who study, learn, visit and grow together. Other Grace Groups can be formed at any time. For more information contact Jeff Gehle at jeff.gehle@stmattcpc.org.
« Writing Club - Heart & Soul Storytellers writing group meets the 3rd Tuesday every month 7pm-9pm in the ARC room 223. Writers’ young, old, experienced or not gather to discuss their stories and learn writing techniques.
